My name is Allison Kennedy and as I write this I can hear the sounds of a food processor and a high-powered dishwasher in the background! I work/live in a restaurant and these are my stories from that life and my lives before. I've been a bartender for almost seven years now, and although working in a restaurant bar hasn't made me smarter, I have met a lot of characters. I grew up in Northern California but went to college at Pepperdine in sunny Malibu. I put myself through school by working for the Cosentino family at Malibu Florist, another constant source of inspiration. Although my two BAs have not led me to greatness, so far I've had a pretty sweet life and it is only getting better.
Now living in Corona, California, I have found a garden spot for retired cholos and the place where most culture and art goes to die. I am rather fond of my strange city, having lived here for almost ten years now. My parents' comfortable abode also houses my four furry children: Chivo, Piddle, Boxer and Katniss. I am engaged to a wonderful mustached man who owns my heart.
